CHRIST ON A FUCKING CROSS. You people seriously have nothing better to do than bitch about “Who started the scene” “Sex pistols suck because blah blah blah and I am an original punk.” WHO FUCKING CARES. Listen to the music and shut the fuck up.
god. now this is more like it. :D I hate how everybody knows this song from guitar hero (Not even the master recording!). Everytime I listen to this song, I think of something like this (Or battlefield Vietnam), not some gayass plastic guitar. :p N offense, but I’ve grown to love Rock band. lol…Please don’t blam me on this comment, I’m just making a statement. ;) Everybody stay to the true roots to music. I’m out.
@royfang88 its about how white people in the suberbs always complaing but they dont know how bad life really is so jello tells them to take a “holiday in Cambodia”
To deadkennedys555… Thank you very much for sharing so a great clip ! I personnaly think that your video perrfectly illustrates what Jello Biafra wanted to say in this song… Thank you fort sharing it with us all !
@JuicersSuck In Conrad’s novel, the investigating hero travels up a fetid and fecund river in the Congo to seek out the mad Kurtz, encountering increased degeneration as he goes further and further.
@JuicersSuck Excellent comment. Of course, Coppola”s Col. Kurtz is a metaphor for Joseph Conrad’s effete jungle-trader character, Kurtz, in his novel, ‘The Heart of Darkness’.
@reaply Col Kurtz. Kurtz has retreated to the Cambodian jungles into a Khmer temple with a private army of Hill tribesman, waging his own lunatic war based on irrational magic, detailed in Sir James Frazer’s metaphysical tome, ‘The Golden Bough’.
@reaply This is a good question and is partly answered by the previous, incisive comment by Juicersuck just below. The film is Francis Ford Coppola’s ‘Apocalypse Now’ which relates the fictional story of a US soldier’s assassination of the commander-gone-wild,
We need to get some people together and burn down the Bohemian Club. Fuck these sick NWO pricks.
