How does Life Jackets on Airplanes Inflate?
How does life jackets on airplanes inflate by just pulling 2 cords on both sides of the jacket?? Incase if the life jacket doesn’t inflate, we need to blow through a pipe. How come air doesn’t go out throught this pipe once inflated??

you use ur seat!
all you have to do is pull a trigger
CO2 cartridges and a one-way valve.
Good Question.
1. There is a compressed air cylinder that inflates the Jacket once the cords are Pulled.
2. As a Back Up Safety Procedure…. they can be INFLATED… by blowing on the Tubes….!
3. There is A CHECK VALVE….. One Way… that Allows AIR IN…. BUT… NOT OUT!
Thanks, RR
there’s compressed air in a tube much like a CO2 cartridge is for a bb hand gun. once the cords are pulled the air is released. and why the air doesn’t go through it……. it’s a one way valve
