I never received the item purchased. Never ever was notified of any problem with the item being available. Amazon refunded my purchase amount quickly, so I would use Amazon again but not purchase anything from this specific seller.

Showed this video to students at the school where I work and to my grandkids. They all loved it. The older cartoon characters are still the best.

The only connection between this collection and Christmas is the cover art. Of the seven cartoons featured, three have a vaguely wintry theme but that’s about it. The DVD features two classic Hanna/Barbera cartoons (the inclusion of which saved this from being a one-star review!); one completely dire offering from the Gene Deitch era and four directed by Chuck Jones. Now, I think Chuck Jones is brilliant but he never really seemed to get the hang of T&J and I always found Jones’ take on the cat and mouse disappointing (although a vast improvement on the Deitch productions if the one included on this disc is anything to go by!).
I’m guessing that all of these cartoons have appeared on the Tom and Jerry box set so, if you’re a collector and want this just for the extras don’t bother: they’re completely pointless. The kids will like this I suppose but this grown-up kid was left very disappointed. (The DVD features these cartoons: Mice Follies; Designs on Jerry; The Tom and Jerry Cartoon Kit; Snowbody Loves Me; I’m Just Wild About Jerry; The A-Tom-Inable Snowman; Advance and Be Mechanized.)

My grandkids loved this DVD, their ages are 2 and 4, kept them occupied for the duration.
